welcome to Chumbus!!

It's gotten much more cold now that auter has begun to fade, the ground has begun to collect snow and become icy in parts of Ranebo that usually have snow. Sometimes the occasional place that doesn't usually have snow have gotten a small dusting of winty weather. A new location has been discovered by Captain Hawkes' exploration this sumnum with all the Ranebo residents that helped her. 

We've got some stuff this Chumbus for you to partake in! Some trait stuff, new prompts and new familiars, a little bit of everything. 

We will be doing an advent calendar this year again! It's shorter than the one we hosted last year, but you'll still get some fun things during the 12 days that the advent calendar will be up. You can check the link HERE, though it won't work until the 14th of December! We will announce when your first gift is available to be claimed so people don't forget.

Two new snowy familiars are available now, the Snowy Whoo and Snowy Motti. The Whoo drops from the Frospine travel tokens in place of the Pinekin. The Motti will be available in the shop for EC. 

Many of you were interested in the Bound Buddy trait becoming attainable, so we've created a string of prompts to get this item as well as some familiars that go along with the little storyline of the prompts. You'll have to do these prompts in order to get your rewards, so be sure to read everything carefully! We'd also love to hear feedback about the longer prompts with required prerequisite prompts too, so please let us know how you feel about this type of prompt in the future!

The first prompt will feature your Ranebopet traveling to the new location the Phrygian Archipelago (pronounced fri-jee-un) to discover the islands of forgotten items, familiars and Ranebopets. The second prompt will feature your Ranebopet befriending and meeting a new local creature to these islands, the Chumbus Dust prompt will be able to be done more than once so you can get both types of dust! The third prompt will feature your Ranebopet meeting the new NPC Charolette the Keeper of the islands. Finally the last prompt will be your Ranebopet binding to their buddy to complete the magical ritual! The last prompt will award you the new spell scroll for the Bound Buddy trait.

A new trait has appeared as well! Sugarnix now have a new uncommon species trait called Snix Cheek Pouches. This allows your Sugarnix to have hamster like cheek pouches that can hold whatever they'd like. You can apply this new trait with an uncommon trait scroll.

We're trialing something for prompts to see if you guys like it, the Cozy Comforts prompt will have an optional addon of a Cozy Sweater. If you add on this item, you'll get some extra EC for the prompt. Please let us know if you're interested in more prompts like this, or how we could implement more of these going forward if people like them!

The Travel to Frospine prompt also is available now! It's another way to get Frospine tokens outside of buying them with energy. You can find all the travel token prompts in the Travel Prompts category!

The yearly Chumbus gift art prompt is also available for you, this rewards you with a gift sack and some extra EC for drawing gift art! 

The Snobee and Hollibee prompts are available yet again, so meet some winty bees this year, maybe even get a sweet treat from their honey. 

We've made a Pinekin related prompt to aquire a Pinekin, they've been removed from the shop and now have a fun prompt to get the familiar! You'll have to draw your Ranebopet interacting with them on their winty pilgrimages.

Some of you may have noticed but we've begun to upload/shift NPCs to an NPC tag on the site! This is for characters like Morton, Chester, Maika the Hatchmaker and such so that their references are more easily found. We'll continue to upload other NPCs here and there!
