Chumbus Dust are sentient little balls of magic, dust and hope. These familiars seem to slowly accumulate on one specific set of islands, Phrygian Archipelago. They start as a small speck and spend all year collecting more to make themselves bigger and more powerful. The more hope and magic they gather, the bigger they are! Most Ranebopets say they feel like a slightly warm dust bunny in their hands when held and make soft purring noises when content. These familiars are known for forging extremely strong bonds with their owners. Some residents call them Dustlings affectionately, due to their rather consisten shedding of dust. These softer blue Chumbus Dust are more rare than their sooty friends, they seem to shimmer more in the sun.
