[Gift] Monthly Prompt - The Little Human

It was another get-some-space-from-the-crazy-members-of-the-group-session.

Klez and Alicanto sat on a rock ledge as they watched three trabbles and a human wrestle over a rock. The shenanigans has started when a trabble had waddled into camp and asked for help with locating "the perfect rock." (For what reason, who knew. The irribask, nor Alicanto, had paid much attention after that.)

The other members of Alicanto's and Klez's group had turned the request into a competition though, and they had quickly tossed themselves into tromping across the surrounding desert, shouting out their findings in unnecessarily short intervals, until Semiplume unearthed an enormous opalescent rock.

The rock, of course, became quickly a prize of envy, and Buttercorn, Rocky, and Abalone wasted no time in trying to "convince" Semi to trade them to rock or attempting to snatch it from her. Semi encouraged the chaos on as, laughing, she dodged the pursuing trabbles and won tug-of-war after tug-of-war over her prize.

Klez was amused by the scene. But it was very, very loud.

"Your human is... extremely enthusiastic." Klez commented to Alicanto when Semi managed to pry the rock away again and dashed away, trabbles in pursuit.

Alicanto gave Klez a weird look he couldn't read. "...She's not really my human." They said.

Alicanto paused.

"She... had been traveling with us. Or, really, she's been guiding us... well, to I don't really know where. Buzzdew, I think." They looked away and ruffled their feathers.

Klez could tell the last point bugged Alicanto. He flipped over the new information in his mind trying to see what the trabble wasn't telling him.

"...You don't trust her?" Klez said when he felt he had found the answer.

Alicanto made a dismissive motion.

A bit too dismissive.

"...Butter is fond of the little human, so they are worth trying to tolerate." They finally said.

Another pause.

"She... means a lot to Butter. So, for now, she's ok."
