Boaritorial prompt
Alura couldn't believe what she was seeing in her igloo. Massive puddles of water flooded her home, blocks of ice that were once her roof were now on the ground in pieces, her fur was slowly shifting into its summer coat, and worst of all there was a disgusting wave of humidity within the igloo, making anyone inside the igloo miserable. Alura was absolutely furious at the scene and Molly wasn't having any picnic either, wailing in discomfort from the humidity.
"Fur f*** sakes whit eh hell a'pen t' ma 'ause!?" She exclaimed as she leapt over a puddle to get to Holly. She lifted her out of her cradle and took off both the wreaths she wore, which made Holly more upset. "A ken ye dinni lyke haein ye wreaths offie ye bit ye will feel be'r, lass."
It wasn't long after setting the wreaths down that a loud roar was heard, followed by a rumble that caused the roof of the igloo to give way. One by one the blocks of ice fell as the rumbles continued."WHIT EH ****!??" Alura swerved out of the way of a falling block and grabbed one of Holly's wreaths before it was crushed along with the other. Whatever was outside was a threat to her and Holly and she wasted no time avoiding the falling blocks to reach the exit. Before she could get to the exit an icicle fell from the bottom of a ledge the igloo was under and instinctively Alura lowered herself and slid mid run, safely getting her and Holly out of the house.
It was sunny.. TOO sunny and Alura felt it in her chest that something was wrong in Salvage, but before she could even gather her barings, she heard that loud roar again. Turning back she layed eyes on the largest boaritorial she'd ever seen and it appeared to have seen her too because it wasted no time charging at her. "AA AWA AN BILE YER HEID!!" she yelled as she turned to book it down the crag. She may know the area better than most and be more agile than the beast but it destroyed everything in its path just to get to her and that made it hard to properly get down the crag. The quaking caused by the beasts hooves and chunks of rocks and ice being flown in her direction made it difficult to keep her balance.
Alura felt the beast getting closer and came to the conclusion that she wasn't going to get away without some sort of a fight so with that she grabbed one of the rocks flung by the beast and jumped in the air to turn around and throw it at the beast. The rock hit the boaritorial in its eye making it lift its head to roar in pain and falter in its steps, causing it to fall and tumble down the crag. Alura curled into herself before hitting the ground and sliding along with the beast. The boaritorial rolled off of a large ledge that Alura slid past and it flew over them, rolling into the ocean that surrounded the crag, losing both tusks in the process.
Coming to a stop at the base of the crag, Alura unfurled her body and sat up to see the aftermath. The boaritorial was on its side in the shallows of the ocean breathingly haphazardly, releasing groans of pain. Alura, breathing shakily, looked down at Holly, she was alright but was just as frightened as her. She took a deep breath and approached the beast, she grabbed the tusks it had lost and raised one in the air, "If onie o' ye c'mere agin a'll mek shuir ye niver see eh licht o' day AGEN!!" and brought it down.
