We Adopted a Human! - Introducing Semiplume

Meet Semiplume (she/her they/them) the human! She approached Buttercorn and Alicanto one day to ask if she could observe them and collect information on Pterrabbles. Buttercorn… misinterpreted Semiplume’s inquiry as a request to live with them. And who was Buttercorn to disagree?

Yeah... Alicanto wasn’t a fan of the idea, and they made that extremely clear to Semi. They’ll be keeping a close eye on her…

Also Semiplume has a Dragolfi named Isle!

My headcanon is that human-Ranebo companionship is fairly common in the world of Ranebo, and that it'd be similar to interpretations of Pokemon-human companionship.

It's not viewed that the human "owns" the given Ranebos in these situations. Instead, both Ranebopet and human contribute equally to assisting in completing goals and looking out for one-another. Humans often take charge of communication (like with Bunbii or Cappari who have goods to exchange) and the organization of quests and supplies. Ranebopets can have roles ranging from protection, transportation, or simply making a journey less lonely.

I also believe that often Bunbii, and occasionally Cappari, will take the role of a human and team up with other Ranebos to complete quests.

What quests would they complete? That’s up to you!
