Profile Sug-244: Tick

Though appearing slightly unsettling even in his fluffy sugarnix form, Tick's menacing alternate form is what gives people a true scare. This form is often seen more than his sugarnix self, though; any time someone breaks a mirror, walks under a ladder, opens an umbrella indoors, or even hangs a horseshoe upside down, he'll appear. Interestingly, on every friday the 13th of any month he sporadically appears from the shadows in his alternate form. The best way to sniff him out is to listen for the faint off-tune ticking of his broken clock.

But what does he do in this alternate form? No one's exactly sure what his motives are, if he has a master or just wishes to cause mayhem. Whenever someone does anything aforementioned, something that would give them 'bad luck', he tracks them down and makes it his duty to give them a bad day. Knocking over flower pots, breaking glass, digging holes, making freshly baked goods 'disappear'... the 'bad luck' he causes typically do not cause physical harm, but they certainly give quite the scare. After midnight strikes, Tick will dissappear once more and leave his victim alone until they make another mistake.

Because of his nature, it is rare to see Tick as his little sugarnix self. Though infamous in many a small town, occassionally Tick will move from town to town, taking advantage of places where he is unknown to trick some poor unsuspecting bunbii (or whoever else) into believing he's a lost pet so they'll take him into their care up until he mysteriously disappears again.

Tick understands spoken language perfectly, though words he speaks himself are few, far between, and often with broken grammar.
