NPC-002: Morton

He/him - Gatekeeper of the Hallogrove

He always wears his utility belt but doesn't always wear his captain's hat. Mort is a rough-around-the-edges Bakiri with a grizzled exterior, but a soft heart within. He’s the gatekeeper of the entrance to the Hallogrove forest for the yearly Passage. Mort is a retired explorer and now operates riverboat services on the Boreli river. He self-describes as having worn many hats-- figuratively and literally!
Additionally, he's accidentally dropped hints that he may have been involved in top-secret operations many years ago, but is extremely tight-lipped about the details.
