Sometimes known as Nix
Mischevious creatures known for "nicking" or stealing items that they are drawn to. These can be various types of items as Nixten sometimes have a draw to certain types of items. Some may find a draw to cards/dice, others may enjoy shiny gemstones, some might prefer cables of various sizes.
They have thumbed hands with which they yoink the items to bring to their stash, or to their owner. As some people have found these wily creatures worthy of being companions. They also can use the tip of their tail to pick up and manipulate objects as well, the tip emits a small amount of telekenetic energy.
The inner portion of their ears and the patch on the bridge of their nose is known to reflect light which they use to flash to communicate with other Nixten of their whereabouts. All Nixten have a nose bridge patch that's usually color differently from the surrounding colors so it stands out.
There are a handful of types of Nixten, most notably the Pedigree Nixten that are a fair bit more suitable for domestication and much more perceptive to human companionship than their more wild regular Nixten counterparts. Sugarnix are also an offshoot of Nixten but are much different in their size and shapes that they are considered more like a different species entirely.
