what is exploring and crafting?
Exploring and crafting allows you to find and make items for you to use and collect within the game! However, before you can do either of those things, you will need a crucial currency: Energy!
You can get Energy through:
- Collecting daily Energy from the Daily page (home > daily)
- Purchasing Energy Gummy Boxes in the Craft & Explore Shop
- Selling the materials you collect from exploring

Once you have Energy, you can purchase Travel Tokens from the Craft & Explore shop! Travel Tokens are boxes that you can open and receive materials and other sorts of goodies from.
When purchasing Travel Tokens, you'll be able to see what kind of things they drop. This can help you decide which Travel Token to buy if you're looking for a particular item. If you're lucky enough, you can get Buried Treasure from Travel Tokens which yields a great reward.
Major events (Eggster, Sunnyfest, Hattowen, and Chumbus) typically have their own exclusive Travel Token which yields rewards that are specific to the event, such as event familiars and event-exclusive materials.
Step 1. Head to your inventory, go down and find the Travel Token(s) you want to use.
Step 2. Select the Travel Token and tick the checkboxes to the leftmost of the item menu and select the quantity, if you have multiple, to the right of the item menu.
Step 3. Hit "open box" and press "open". Once opened, you will be able to see what you've earned at the top of your inventory.

Now that you have materials, what can you do with them? Well, there is one other thing in the Craft & Explore shop that is available to purchase and it's Recipe Keys! Recipe Keys, when used, will unlock a crafting recipe for you to use in the crafting page. (play > crafting)
Recipe keys generally follow the same steps as Travel Tokens for using them to unlock recipes.
Like Travel Tokens, major events have their own recipe keys. Some recipe keys from these events stay permanently and some are only available through the event such as potion/spell recipes.
You can view all recipes, even if you haven't unlocked them, and what they need in the recipe encyclopedia!
Step 1. Head to the crafting page.
Step 2. From your unlocked recipes, choose the recipe you want to craft and hit the corresponding "Craft" button.
Step 3. In the recipe menu, it will tell you if have enough materials for the recipe or not. If you have enough materials, the site will automatically select the required items. From there, you'll be able to hit the "Craft" button and receive the crafted item. You can only craft items one at a time.
