Bettabo
Amphibious Ranebopets that can squash and strech at ease. Often colorful creatures that are known to reside in or near sources of water. These little guys have to stay moist to keep their skin as pristine as they can.
Their fins come in numerous shapes, sizes and amounts, each Bettabo is different and unique. Commonly Bettabo can have any number of facial and body fins, but only one top and one tail fin. Though some have been bred or adapted to have much more fanciful fins for display or aesthetic purposes.
Occasionally some Bettabo will have even longer body plans than the tradional Bettabo shape, these are called Eel Bettabo and often are seen having a toothier grin or an underbite more commonly among the Eels.
Bettabo hatchlings are known for being much more like smaller adult Bettabo, but exhibiting much less coloration and simpler fin shapes. They don't have facial fins
